Are you tired of political bias and personal interests getting in the way of your government representatives' doing their jobs? Are you fed up with party feuding and "this for that" legislation? How about special interest groups holding back important legislation because it will dig into their pocketbooks? Do you sometimes feel your representatives have lost sight of what is important - their constituents? Well, so do I!
It's time to put aside our differences and support this nation as a whole, and also the interests of our planet. It's time for politicians to focus on DOING their jobs, instead of KEEPING their jobs. It's time to get real, folks!
I believe that by running a write-in campaign completely via word of mouth in the electronic age, I can exact change in Washington by uniting the two warring parties. This can be done by electing an average American to the White House with no party affiliation.
As a middle class American, I have seen many issues come and go in Washington D.C. but nothing ever seems to get done unless an amendment to the legislation is attached that includes some none-issue item that spends more taxpayers' dollars. This type of legislation uses political hostage to hold up real solutions for the real problems facing this country. Remember the President has a veto pen which has been used sparingly since the 1980's.
I will highlight some of these issues from the past as well as what may come up in the future.
My stances on taxation, transportation, security, healthcare, education and many other issues will be covered as well as those issues that are emailed to me.
Please do not believe this is a joke. Explore where I stand on various issues. Pass this site along. Encourage others to write in my name during the primaries. Make your voices heard and shake up the political system. I do not have the millions of dollars that it takes today to run the kind of full out ad campaign that always seems to throw more mud at the other candidates than to really address the issues important to average Americans. I will stick with the issues and my solutions to those issues. We need to fix our problems with common sense solutions and move on to the future.
