Montages have become much more popular in recent years. I have attended weddings, funerals, and birthday parties at which photographs of the honored or remembered party are displayed in this manner. It sure beats the old poster board system! But I digress...

Are you having a birthday milestone, wedding, or other event for which a collection of photographs will enhance the occasion? Have you considered having a montage created? Well, I can help, and for a lot less than the professionals. I place no limits on the number of photographs or chapters, and will use your music to enhance the video. INSTRUCTIONS:

1 - Gather your photos

Select the photos you would like included in your montage. Put them in the order you want them to be displayed in, and NUMBER them on the back, in case they accidentally get shuffled. When I receive them, I will scan them in good resolution and correct any obvious flaws in the output, as well as perform color correction on faded images. If you scan the photos yourself, please use a resolution of at least 400dpi, more if the images are very small, so they will display adequately on the video. I will provide a discount for photos received digitally.

2 - Decide on your music

Make a list of the music titles you want included in your project, and make sure you annotate clearly which pictures you want associated with each track. If your project is large, it might be easier if you break it down into chapters, and organize your photos with 3x5 cards that include any captions you want, chapter titles, and music choices, and band it all together in the order you want it prior to shipping. If your photos are already digital, make sure you provide me a list of all captions, listed by photo number.

3 - Ship your materials to me

To keep things simple, pack all your source materials (music, photos, supporting documentation) in a Priority Mail flat rate box large enough to fit your finished product and all additional copies. Include in the box the form you will create on this site (I will provide you with a link to the form after you contact me), and a check or money order for the amount of my service, including sufficient money to return your materials.

4 - Monitor your email

As I work on your project, I will post a preview on a private page for your review. I will send email notices when changes to your page are posted. Review those changes and respond to me with any changes you need, or to let me know the work is acceptable.

5 - Check your mail

As soon as I complete your project, I will repack it in your original Priority Mail flat rate box, and send it back to you. Yes, it's really that simple!
